Yokohama's famous ramen museum

Shinyokohama Raumen Museum is a unique museum about ramen - a famous Japanese noodle.

The exhibition on the first floor of the museum displays the history of Japan's ramen, including the secret to the success of instant noodle production. The museum displays a variety of noodles, soups, and bowls that were once used in Japan. In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to see the unique process of making noodles by hand.

You must purchase a ticket for each dish at the vending counter in front of each stall before going in to pick up your items.

Notes when entering the ramen museum
Visitors should politely queue when the store is crowded. There are no reservations at ramen shops.
You can enter the ramen museum many times a day, just show the ticket to the security guard before entering the museum.
Visitors can enjoy noodles at the museum stalls
Smoking is not recommended in the museum except for the Kateko bar in the first basement or outside the museum.
Do not bring food or drink into the museum. If you do bring them, keep them in your bag and do not eat or drink during the tour.
You are allowed to take pictures freely at the museum. For photographs used for commercial purposes, permission of the museum is required.
Some restaurants may be closed on regular holidays.

Opening hours: 11:00 – 22:00 (from 10:30 on Sundays and public holidays, may be longer on some days)

Ticket price: Adults (ages 13 and up): 310yen. Children (6-12 years old) and family members (over 60 years old): 100yen. Free tickets for children under 6 years old. For groups of 15 or more: Adults – 260yen, Children – 50yen.
