A market specializing in selling goods left behind on trains in Japan

Referring to Japan, it is impossible to ignore the "specialty" which is the subway. The trains here are always ranked as the busiest in the world because almost people and families use it as their main means of transportation every day. Therefore, this is also considered a place where passengers' lost items are often discovered when getting on and off the train continuously.

Of course, with high sense and kindness, those who are completely lost can return to the station and retrieve the item that has been stored. However, for items that go unclaimed for a specified period of time, they will be resold at a market instead of being thrown away in vain.

This special market, called Tetsudo Wasuremono Ichi, is open at certain times of the year at many train stations across Japan. This place sells almost all fashion items from clothes, shoes, belts, umbrellas, to technology items, decorations, souvenirs, etc. You can find any color, my favorite design here.

Reportedly, the total value of items forgotten at Japanese train stations in 2015 amounted to 25,525,693 yen (about 246,000 USD), this market was established with the great motto: "Discarded goods One person may be another's treasure." It started to become busier as more people came looking for the items they wanted to buy at "cheap as for" prices

On the signs in the market, many items start at only 50 yen (more than 10k). Some other items have an average price of around 500 yen (more than 100k) and of course they are all very new and come from famous brands, not the type of waste that can no longer be used. If you're lucky, you can find "bargains" at a much lower price than new.
