1. Kintaikyo Bridge
The famous Kintaikyo bridge, which crosses the Nishiki River in Iwakuni City, is one of the symbols of Yamaguchi Prefecture. The wooden bridge was built in 1673. Japanese engineers skillfully put pieces of wood together to create an arched 5-span bridge, resting on 4 stone pillars.

2. Motonosumi Inari Shrine
One destination that visitors cannot miss when coming to Yamaguchi is Motonosumi Inari Shrine in Nagato City. Built in 1955, the shrine consists of 123 bright red Torii gates stretching more than 100m from the mountain down the cliff facing the Sea of Japan.

Hagi Uragami Museum was established in 1996 to store and display a unique collection of oriental art donated by businessman Toshiro Uragami, born in Hagi.
